Accommodation Regulations

  1. Golden Key Services, s.r.o., ID No.: 56 031 173 (hereinafter referred to as the “accommodation provider”) issues these accommodation regulations in order to regulate the rights and obligations of the accommodation provider and the accommodated guests arising from the contract for temporary accommodation in the operation of the Hotel Zlatý Kľúčik, address: Svätourbanská 103/29, 949 01 Nitra.
  2. Hotel Zlatý Kľúčik(hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel”) is a public accommodation facility categorised as a hotel of the class ****, which provides the public with temporary accommodation and other ancillary services for a fee.
  3. The contract for temporary accommodation is created by confirming the order for the provision of temporary accommodation of the customer for a certain period of time at a price in accordance with the valid price list of hotel accommodation.
  4. The hotel can only accommodate a guest who is duly registered for accommodation. The hotel receptionist will check the reservation, verify the payment confirmation in the reservation system or issue a bill/invoice for payment and provide the guest with accommodation.
  5. Guests can check in on the day of arrival from 15:00 upon presentation of a valid ID or valid passport, online booking confirmation or voucher. The hotel receptionist will then issue the guest with a room card (inserted in the accommodation card) or instructions for the stay (only in the case of stay packages).
  6. When registering the residence of foreigners, a special legal regulation shall be followed.
  7. The hotel receptionist can accommodate the guest on the day of arrival from 11:00 upon guest’s request and upon payment of an early check-in fee in accordance with the hotel’s current price list.
  8. The accommodation provider is obliged to hand over to the accommodated guest the premises reserved for accommodation in a condition suitable for proper use and to ensure the undisturbed exercise of his/her rights associated with the temporary accommodation.
  9. The accommodated guest has the right to use the premises reserved for his/her accommodation as well as other premises connected with the provision of other reserved services.
  10. Guests can use a bathrobe and slippers available in the room for SPA services.
  11. Entry to the outlet centres (restaurant, lobby bar, smoking lounge, wedding pavilion) in a bathrobe is not allowed.
  12. The guest uses the room for the duration of the stay. Guests can request an extension of their stay if they wish, as long as no further bookings have been received for the room. He also has the right to use other services beyond the paid stay, subject to prior reservation at the hotel reception.
  13. If the guest notices any defects, malfunctions or possible damages on the first day of arrival in the room, he/she is obliged to communicate these matters with the hotel receptionist in his/her interest. In the event of failure to notify the employee, the guest is directly responsible for the deficiencies.
  14. Guests are not allowed to make any alterations to the room or common areas, move furniture and other equipment or make any other interventions, including to the electrical network and installations.
  15. Guests are not allowed to use their own electrical appliances, except for personal hygiene or charging electronic devices.
  16. Guests can only receive visitors in the common areas of the hotel. For these purposes, mainly the sales centres (restaurant, lobby bar, smoking lounge) and common areas of the hotel are used.
  17. The guest is obliged to maintain cleanliness and order in the room, in the areas intended for the provision of services, as well as in other common areas of the hotel.
  18. There is a strict no smoking policy in the room and in all indoor areas of the hotel, with the exception of the smoking lounge. In case of violation of the smoking ban, the accommodation provider is entitled to charge the guest a one-off fee of EUR 300.00 for cleaning.
  19. Pursuant to Civil Code $ 758 and the provisions of $ 433, the accommodation provider is liable for those items brought by the guest into the interior of the hotel premises, as well as for damage caused to these items, as long as they have been stored in a place reserved for this purpose or where they are usually stored, and provided that the guest has complied with all the provisions of the accommodation regulations, the general principles of fire protection and other generally applicable principles.
  20. In-room safes are available to store guests’ money and valuables.
  21. The hotel is only responsible for money and valuables if it has taken them from the guest for safekeeping (on the basis of a written confirmation).
  22. Two outdoor unguarded car parks are available for guests, situated next to the hotel. The accommodation provider is not liable for any damage to the guest’s motor vehicle or for any damage caused by its theft.
  23. Selected hotel staff (housekeeper, housekeeper, housekeeping manager, housekeeping supervisor, housekeeper, receptionist, reservation manager, hotel director) are authorized to enter the occupied room in order to clean it or to remove a fault, provide first aid, or solve a problem pointed out by a guest during the stay, or if there is a reasonable suspicion of violation of the accommodation rules.
  24. The guest is obliged to shut off the water supply, switch off the electric lights and any appliances and close the door before leaving the room.
  25. The guest is obliged to respect the markings of the areas that are only for hotel staff.
  26. The guest is obliged to observe night quiet from 22:00 to 06:00 in all areas of the hotel.
  27. On re-arrival at the hotel, the guest is obliged to show his/her accommodation card when asked to do so by the hotel receptionist.
  28. In case of illness or injury of the guest, the responsible hotel staff member will arrange for medical assistance to be provided or summoned.
  29. For safety reasons, it is not advisable to leave children under 10 years of age unsupervised either in the room or in other areas of the hotel.
  30. Guests are not allowed to take sports equipment (bicycles, skis, etc.) into the rooms.
  31. Dogs and other animals may only be on the hotel premises with the permission of the responsible hotel employee (receptionist on duty, reservation manager, hotel manager) or by prior agreement of the guest with the hotel, provided that the guest proves their medical fitness. In the event that the guest fails to report the stay of dogs and/or other animals to the hotel reception, the hotel is entitled to charge the guest a fine of EUR 200.00 per individual animal per night. The price for accommodation of the animal is charged according to the current price list of the hotel. The following measures apply to the accommodation of dogs and other animals:
    • Dogs and other animals are prohibited from entering and staying in areas where food is stored and prepared or food and beverages are served (kitchen, restaurant, lobby bar, smoking lounge, wedding pavilion),
    • dogs and other animals are not allowed in the SPA premises,
    • In all common areas of the hotel, all dogs must be on a leash and muzzled,
    • Dogs and other animals must not be allowed to rest – lying on a bed or other device used for resting guests,
    • equipment used for the preparation or serving of food to guests may not be used to feed the animals,
    • in the event of any damage to the hotel’s facilities by an animal, the guest is obliged to pay the full amount of the damage. The owner of the animal and the guest who allowed the animal to stay in the room and/or hotel are fully responsible for the animal.
  32. Mail to be sent from guests is received by the hotel receptionist, who will ensure that it is sent.
  33. The guest is obliged to leave and vacate the room on the last day of the stay no later than 11:00, unless it is a stay where the check-out date is otherwise specified. Leaving the room before 14:00 (late check-out) is possible upon guest’s request and upon payment of a late check-out fee. If the guest uses the room without prior request to the hotel receptionist after the regular check-out time (after 11:00), he/she may be charged the room rate for the next night.
  34. The guest is obliged to surrender his/her room card at the end of the stay and pay the price of all services provided in excess of the paid stay against the issued bill/invoice.
  35. If the guest forgets personal belongings in the room and the matter is brought up after the guest has checked out at the hotel reception, the accommodation provider will contact the guest immediately and store the forgotten items for 30 days from the date of departure. Sending items by post is only possible in special cases by prior arrangement with the guest.
  36. The guest is liable for all damages caused to the property of the hotel by his/her actions – both intentional and negligent. He is obliged to compensate the damage in money according to the price at the time of the damage, at the latest after the end of the stay in the hotel. The receptionist will write a damage report about the damage.
  37. In case of loss of the room card, the guest is obliged to immediately report this loss to the hotel reception.
  38. When complaining about the services provided, the guest is obliged to follow the Complaints Procedure, which is located at the hotel reception.
  39. If you have any suggestions for improving the hotel’s services, please contact the hotel reception.
  40. The price list of accommodation and other hotel services is available at the hotel reception.
  41. Cancellation conditions and fees are part of the general terms and conditions. Accommodation tax is charged in accordance with the legislation in force.
  42. The evacuation order is prominently displayed in the rooms.
  43. The accommodation provider reserves the right to interrupt the stay of guests whose behaviour endangers the good manners and safety, health or property of other guests of the hotel. The same procedure applies to guests with excessive alcohol consumption, the use of narcotic and psychotronic substances and repeated disturbance of the night.
  44. The guest is obliged to comply with the provisions of the accommodation regulations and fire regulations. In case of a gross violation, the accommodation provider has the right to withdraw from the temporary accommodation contract before the expiry of the agreed time.

The accommodation regulations enter into force on 25.1.2024.
